A Tower

Truce, by the Dresden Dolls, has a line that accurately describes my humanity...Lolita, by Emilie Autumn, feels like it was written by me...

Once again I'm confounded by music.

Tonite, some random thoughts.

Why do we not trust our hearts?
Conditioning, from birth...it can be escaped through desensititzation...
...if you follow your heart you can do anything. It's when you doubt that things go wrong.

In order to learn something, you can't just go from making lots of mistakes, to suddenly making no mistakes...in fact, in order to get better you have to have a quota of mistakes to make. Let's start with 3000, or 2000, or 1000! Don't be afraid to make mistakes! (Korean 101)

I feel like a tower, building upward into the sky. Those who are grounded, feel intimidated by the tallness of the structure and shirk away. Others, like birds and dragons, fly by the tower like gusts of wind. Some will land, but ultimately all fly away. Really, I just want another tower to keep me company for some time.

You never did anything any man wouldn't do. Anyone could have. So in a way, you have taken their sin upon you. The betrayal wears your face.

Some men, as they age, seem to have their souls rot within their body. The disconnect starts with the heart and then the mind.

To show that I am a worthwhile person. That may be the best compliment anyone could give.

If you have ever lamented that I have forgotten you, remember this: I believe every person I have ever met was crucial. Some people have unknowingly hurt me, and so I have forgotten. Others have been over shadowed, but were none-the-less important. Whether I remember or not isn't truly important, because it still happened. The fact that you remember proves that and makes the meeting significant. Even if neither remembered, the meeting could have that significance for more than just the moment. So never mind.

There is too much, and yet never enough. I live a life of duality, and opposites will always coexist.
