Nightmare Food
The water was running in the bathroom. But no one was here. The roommate who shares my bathroom moved out weeks ago, and the others had been on vacation. But I heard it, not just dripping, actually running enough to be a flow. Well, I should turn it off, so I did. I got up and went to turn off the water. Without thinking, I just opened the door and reached for the faucet in the tub, which was leaking a good amount and seemed to have actually been turned slightly. In a moment, I noticed that the water must not have been running very long, because there was not much water in the tub even though it doesn't drain well. Just as I turned it, water stopping, the door slammed shut. I was in complete darkness, alone. I rushed to get out of the bathroom, and anti-climatically, nothing else happened.
